Pro Dance Studios is comprised of two multi-purpose theatre-style rooms perfect for teaching, filming, videos, audio recording, production and any number of group functions accommodating up to approximately 100 people (more info below). Pro Dance Studios has generous parking and is centrally positioned with easy access from Tampa (Hillsborough County), Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and all of North and South Pinellas county.

 

Rent Pro Dance Studio's Studio A (Film Studio Space) for Film and Video Recording Projects

Studio A provides a spacious (1,000+ sq. ft) black-box theatre-style film studio with state of the art sound, lighting, and audio recording systems and is well suited to a variety of film projects including music videos, commercials, green screen work, and any other projects that demand a light and sound controlled environment. A Filming rental includes full access to Studio A’s lighting system which consists of a combination of fluorescent, incandescent, and LED lighting that allows you to recreate anything from daylight (5500 Kelvin color temperature) to steamy night club complete with a haze machine and disco ball. Use of the in-house speaker and DJ-style sound system is included as well.

With a basic filming space rental you also receive access to the in-house audio recording system with is comprised of a system of omni-directional microphones suspended from the ceiling positioned to pick up even and clear sound regardless of where the subjects are located on the filming floor. If you have additional microphones you will be able to tag into the system and digitally manage your audio recording from Sound Room A. Also, the film rental includes a dedicated staff technician to help adjust the sound, lighting, and audio recording systems to your projects specific needs. Please let the scheduling coordinator know if your project has specific needs such as green screen at the time of booking.

With a full film studio rental, you will have access to Studio A, the waiting area outside, exclusive access to Studio A, Studio B, and Sound Room A (attached to Studio A). Film Studio rentals require a contract and security. Cancellation requires two-week notice or entire rent is due. • Weekly Rate (5 consecutive days, 8 hours per day): $4,000.00*
• Daily Rate (1 day, 8 hours of studio time): $1,250.00*
• Hourly Rate: $350.00*

*All rates above include one full-time staff technician to operate lighting, sound, and sound recording equipment/software as described above.

 

Rent Pro Dance Studio's Studio A Space for Workshops and Master Dance Classes

Dance Workshops

Studio A provides a large instruction space with a state of the art sound system in a location with generous parking that is centrally positioned with easy access from Tampa (Hillsborough County), Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and all of North and South Pinellas county. With a workshop type rental, you will have access to Studio A, the waiting area outside, house lighting, and the sound system. Access to full studio/nightclub lighting is available at an additional charge. Workshops/master classes require a contract and security deposit and have a minimum of 3 hours at a time. Cancellation requires two-week notice or entire rent is due. In order to book a studio for an event it is mandatory that you contact the Scheduling Coordinator at 727-738-1145.

• Weekdays after 6pm: $60.00 / hour
• Weekends up to 4 hours: $70.00 / hour
• Weekends (additional hours): $60.00 / hour

Non-Dance Workshops

Non-dance workshops may include classes in theater, healing arts/meditation, modeling, writing, etc. Studio availability for non-dance workshops may be limited by studio requirements or other considerations. Workshops/master classes require a contract and security deposit. Cancellation requires two-week notice or entire rent is due. In order to book a studio for an event it is mandatory that you contact the Scheduling Coordinator at 727-738-1145.

Rent Pro Dance Studio's Studio A Space for Weekly Dance/Movement Art Classes

Permanent weekly class rentals require an application process (resume submission & evaluation). These slots are reserved for classes in dance and movement-related arts. A contract and $50.00 security deposit are required. Cancellation requires two weeks' notice, or else payment is due. Instructors who would like to be considered for a weekly class, placed on the class waiting list, or information about workshop series availability should contact the Scheduling Coordinator at 727-738-1145, or mail a resume, bio, and class/workshop proposal (including schedule requirements) to Pro Dance Studios, 22127 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33765, Attn: Scheduling Coordinator.

• Kids' classes: $15.00 / hour
• Adult dance classes: $30.00 / hour, $45.00 / 1.5 hours, $60.00 / 2 hours, etc.

 

Rent Pro Dance Studio's Studio B for Private, Semi-Private, or Small Group Lessons

Available for private or small group dance lessons (6 students or less). Private lessons are defined as instruction for groups of six students or less for which the teacher receives compensation. Please contact teachers directly to arrange for instruction; visit our Class Descriptions Page to search for instructors by dance style and view contact information. Cancellation requires 24 hours' notice, or else payment is due. Please call 727-738-1145 to place a request for studio rental for a private lesson. Sound systems or portable stereos (first come first serve basis) are available.

This room can be rented for $15.00 an hour based upon room availability.
